Session 47: Back to Voltana
Evening 15th Low Summer, 498 CE
The party, exhausted from their time in
Hallowfel
, took the night to relax
Tol'Enay
-Style.
Much merriment and libation was had by all.
Ekhart dropped his disguise for the evening and had fun with the monks and dwarves.
Sanglant,
Langston
, and
Ezu
talked for a bit, Ezu mentioning she would love to come back to Tol'Enay when they were done their quest.
Ekhart and
Cid
also talked about how his Sealing Spell works.
The spell comes in two parts; one to be cast outside the area of the void, and one in the centre.
The ritual would take about a minute in total.
Sometime during the party,
Laef
returned from her scouting mission to the
Loridael Forest
.
She explained that outside the Loridael, a human camp had been set up.
She also explained that some of the elves had been teaching the humans to summon demon monsters, though she was unsure of how or why.
The party decided to take a hard earned, long rest.
Morning 16th Low Summer, 498 CE
In the morning, everyone discussed their next moves.
Cid and Laef offered to either try and capture a demon from the Loridael, or return and reunite with
Delrune
.
Ekhart said they would probably be better served reuniting with Delrune.
Cid and Laef left for Mae Relian via the Summoing Circle of Tol'Enay
With Cid's Sealing Spell in hand, the party decided to head back to Big Uun using Cid's
Faestride
ability.
When they arrived, however, Big Uun was in the Fae version of
Ambermoor
.
Big Uun mentioned that he was drawn here because of the conflict that was happening in the city.
Apparently, people had been dying by the dozens in the city.
With a little investigating, Sanglant was able to locate the demon that had been killing the residence of Ambermoor.
After a little preparation, the Party was able to decimate the demon.
With her animal sense, Revana smelled the priests responsible for summoning the demon, and tracked them to a home.
Inside the home, the priests had captured a few of the residents and had been turning them into demons.
They quickly killed the priests without hesitation.
