Hallowfel
Hallowfel is the capital city of Fairwyn.
Introduction
As you walk north, dusk begins to settle. The yellows and oranges of the setting sun mix thoroughly through the canopy of the leafy trees, themselves beginning to yellow as autumn quickly approaches. Your journey from Wickon isn’t long, however, as only after a short walk, the leafy forest makes way to a large, sprawling farmland clearcut from the forest, and in the distance the first view of Hallowfel can be seen.
The city is far and away the largest you’ve seen so far on your travels, likely twice the size of Mae Relian. Hallowfel is built directly into the side of a mountain, surrounded by tall and imposing stone walls. The city appears to be several levels, with large pulley-contraptions built to move people and goods up and down the various levels of the city.
You also see a channel of water running through the upper levels, flowing in a mighty waterfall down to the lowest level and then past the walls and down north towards the sea. Large river vessels float up and down the rivers and canals, bringing goods in and out of the city.
Dozens, if not hundreds, of the blue banners of Fairwyn line all the walls and towers of the city, emblazoned with the familiar Fairwyn crest, a set of balanced weighted scales.
