Session 59: The Final Battle: Part I

26th Low Summer, 498 CE

  • With her newfound powers, Revana transported the party to the surface of the moon, known as Lunos.
  • As they moved towards the planet, they all recieved visions of different lives that they could have lived on worlds created by Lunos.
    • Revana saw herself as a mighty beast in a world where everyone is equal parts prey and predator.
    • Ekhart saw himself as a magical beast manipulating a world of puzzles to solve the mystery of his world.
    • Sanglant saw himself as one of a million monkeys, living in harmony and peace in a massive tree.
  • As they arrived on Lunos, they found themselves in Lunos' location of his newfound Soul.
    • In his Soul Chamber, they found the bodies of Nya and Elden, writhing on the floor.
  • Revana approached the Titan's Soul and felt a question, posed as whether she wished to serve Lunos.
    • She grappled with the question for a second but ultimately she said that she did not.
  • Immediately, the ground beneath their feet began to break, and Nya and Elden fell into the abyss.
    • Summoning three servants to fight them, the found that they were fighting their Lunos versions of themselves.
    • As the began to fight, the Titan's Soul disappeared.
  • After a difficult battle, they began to search around for the Titan's Soul, sensing it was still nearby.
    • Ekhart cast True Seeing and was able to suss out that the soul was still there.
    • He reached out for it, but was struck by lightning, and was lifted into the air.
    • Revana managed to save him, however, as the two of them fell to the ground.
  • The Titan's Soul began shooting lightning everywhere, not able to summon anything else to defend itself.
    • That was, until Nya's and Elden's bodies lifted out out of the void and were struck with the lightning.
    • Their writhing seemed to stop, and the two of them seemed to become full servants of Lunos and began to fight the party.
