Session 16: Journey to the Ice Queen
Evening, 25th Summer Prime, 498 CE
- The party arrived at Ambermoor.
- They noticed that the town had become far more militarized since the last time they left.
- Revana found a guard to ask some questions.
- The guard mentioned that, on order of the Countess, Ambermoor was recruiting more citizens into its guard.
- There was also a curfew, and taht citizens weren't allowed to wander the city at night.
- While Ekhart, Revana, and Remy went shopping, Sanglant headed to Ambermoor.
- Sanglant met up with Dame Ira Royn, the Master-at-Arms of Ambermoor Keep.
- Dame Ira mentioned that Count Adir, along with Albert, had been summoned back to Naveria.
- Amelia, Count Adir's middle daughter, had been appointed acting Countess in his absence.
- Zara, Count Adir's oldest daughter, left without saying anything a few days ago
- Apparently, the Golden Guild had also vacated their headquarters.
- Duke Renys Baerd, Duke of Fairwyn, and his sister Marion, the Dowager Empress, had some sort of disagreement.
- Duke Renys has claimed that the Emperor has moved to Hallowfel,
- while the Queen Regent claims that the Emperor is still in Naveria.
- Apparently, the plot to have Albert kidnapped, the child that the party saved, was originally orchestrated by Renys.
- Sanglant and Dame Ira went to see Lady Gwendalyn, and the two of them shared a pleasant evening.
Morning, 26th Summer Prime, 498 CE

Afternoon, 26th Summer Prime, 498 CE

Afternoon, 28th Summer Prime, 498 CE
- The party arrived at Riverpond.
- Remy left to meet with her father, Elai Dane.
- Sanglant, Revana, and Ekhart entered the Faerealm.
- Selina, the Water Fae, was gone, and the entire area was instead covered in snow and ice.
- Hundreds of little water spirits were frozen in the ice.
- Remy and Ekhart used their fire magic to free one of them.
- The spirit told them about Selina.
- Selina would occasionally go into bouts of depression around the anniversary of her sister, Syndra the Fire Spirit's, death.
- She had been gone for a few days, though, which was very unlike her.
- Usually she would only be gone for a day, at most.
- The spirit told them that they could find Selina at her home, near the waterfall that fed into the river.
Evening, 28th Summer Prime, 498 CE
- The party, plus Remy, followed the dried up river to its source.
- They once again entered the Faerealm, and found a giant frozen waterfall, and a staircase that twisted up it.
- They climbed the waterfall, and eventually reached a platform that lead into the mountain.
- Around the platform were 4 blue-skinned goblins, similar to the ones Sang had met before in the Faerealm near the Midnai Wilds.
- Remy used her fire magic to melt the ice that sealed the door and the party entered the Frozen Grotto.
Session 17: Battle with the Ice Queen
Evening, 28th Summer Prime, 498 CE
- The party entered the Frozen Grotto.
- They found a goblin butler frozen in ice, and thawed him out.
- He said his name was Ollo, and he was Selina's personal assistant.
- He mentioned that the Water Spirit arrived, was very sad, and everything froze.
- The party moved from the foyer of the grotto to a large atrium with several closed gates.
- There were two goblin guards, that Ollo didn't recognize, as well as an Ice Elemental and two smaller Ice Spirits.
- After dispatching them, the Ice Elemental turned into a spherical key, that the party used to unlock the other doors.
- In the door to the left, they found Selina's treasure room, filled with treasures from the physical world.
- While helping Ollo clean up, they found some gold, a potion of spider climb, and a Feather Token.
- In the door to the right, they found several goblins hanging out in Ollo's personal chamber.
- Ekhart dispatched of 4 of the goblins, and then set the last remaining 2 to try and figure out how to open the last door.
- After a bit of lucky guessing, the goblins (named Beepo and Jojo), managed to get the door to Selina's chamber open.
- Beepo and Jojo mentioned that they were part of the Blehx, the Goblin Queen's, army.
- The party instructed Ollo to keep watch on Beepo and Jojo, and entered Selina's throne room.
- There, they found the Goblin Queen, that claimed that she was the new Water Elemental.
- The party then proceeded to fight her, and defeated her.
Session 18: Selina, the Water Elemental
The Darkness, ??? CE
- Ragnar, Moira, Maeve, and Marcus had been traveling through the Darkness for around a month.
- They have developed the ability to see in the dark, and could now clearly see the monsters that surround them.
- During one of their meals, the found a mysterious note telling them to dowse their fire.
- The note claimed that the fire was drawing the monsters in, and also agitating them.
- Without any other options, the group dowsed their fire.
- The monsters that remained around them seemed to become pacified at this, and leave.
- The party eventually noticed Chaaya, a young ashenkin girl.
- She said that she was the one to leave the note.
- She also offered to take the group to her village.
Night, 28th Summer Prime, 498 CE
- The party searched the dead body of the goblin queen.
- On her person, they found one of Selina's Tears.
- Ekhart took the tear and touched it to Selina's frozen body.
- This caused Selina to thaw and become free.
- Selina greeted the party joyously.
- She told Sang that she missed him and that he was her favourite human.
- She exclaimed that she hadn't seen Remy in forever and that she had grown so tall.
- She said to Revana that she hadn't seen an elf in a very long time.
- Upon seeing Ekhart, Selina said she hadn't seen a Faeling for even longer.
- The party told Selina what had happened to her, and that the blue goblins had tried to usurp her.
- This made Selina fly into a rage, killed the two remaining blue goblins they had captive.
- The party and Selina then began talking about their missing and about the nature of the spirits.
- Selina told them that there are many spirits of each element (except shadow, where there is only Uun, the Shadow Spirit.)
- The Elemental is the only spirit that can make people a champion of that element.
- The Elemental is the spirit that currently most embodies the nature of each element.
- Ekhart asked Selina, who had noticed that he was part Wind Spirit, who the Wind Elmental was, but Selina said she didn't know.
- She told them to ask around the area in the Faerealm near Mae Relian.
- Selina thanked the party, gave them some of her boons, and Sanglant became Champion of Water.
- Everyone left the Frozen Grotto and rode the giant water spirit Leviathan back to Riverpond.
- The party bid Selina farewell and Sanglant brought them back to the physical world.
- It was the middle of the night, so the party left to Remy's house to sleep.
- They met Remy's father, Elai Dane.
- The next day, the party left to meet with Baron Vanden.
- Vanden told the party that the Lion's Troupe had delivered the information about the church's doings to the Duchess of Voltana.
- Sanglant filled the Baron in on what they had been up to as well, and that the world was in danger from a demon.
- Vanden told them to continue their mission to stop the demon.
- He also sent the Lion's Troupe on a mission to kidnap Daedrin Falstani, in fear that Ortelai will try to push his claim to the thrown.
- The party and the Lion's Troupe bid farewell, as the party left north to Mae Relian.
Evening, 3rd High Summer, 498 CE
- The party arrived in Mae Relian.
- Upon arrival, Ekhart made contact with his mother via a twinned page.
- Delrune told them to meet them in the Upper Court, outside of the Maer's Tower, tomorrow at noon.
- They booked a room at an Inn in the Outcity called the Duke's Fancy.
- Revana and Remy left to explore the city.
- Ekhart and Sanglant traveled to the Faerealm.
- They arrived in a town populated by animals.
